Weekend Portfolio: Dasha Dare

Dasha Dare’s attraction to “Umbrellas” began three years ago while exploring the streets of Manhattan, capturing its monochrome and color beauty during various seasons and weather conditions. Paying closer attention to these urban landscapes has led to the development of this body of work that now includes photographs of people under umbrellas, the “relationships” between these subjects and the connection and raw emotion of people sharing these very personal moments.
