The debut exhibition of Neil Latham’s “Neil Latham: American Thoroughbred” is currently on display at the Steven Kasher Gallery until July 29th, The series of black and white horse photographs are the product of Latham’s extensive work in building a portable studio and using natural lighting. Initially, the photos were meant to be an exploration of the connections between horses and Latham’s late mother. However, the work also explores our own relationships as humans to these powerful beasts.
