Virgo (Aug 23 - Sep 22)
Virgo: A bit of harsh sentencing seems to hang over us on the eve of April. A merciless-seeming Full Moon on the 31st may have brought some uncomfortable feelings forward, as the Sun and Moon were both greatly at odds with Mars, the planet of our will, and Saturn, the planet of restriction, of unadorned truth, structure and permanence. Saturn is digging its heels for a long stay in Capricorn, the sign its rules, and is now functioning as a powerful mouthpiece for responsibility and stability. For you Saturn is in a house of physical and love-joys, caring for children, artistic dreams, competitiveness, the house of breadth of heart, in short, and Saturn can be like cold water in this house. But of course, at least for the moment, you have Mars here which definitely adds some heat and pushes the necessity of your desires to the fore. Because actually of heat in your body, of becoming quick to anger this past month, and because you want certain things badly, such as more children, or the love of someone else, you must reign back a little: cultivate patience, go running, get the energy out some other way. You should practice patience with your children, if you have any, and not despair if the joys you expected to feel are not so present: they will come. The pair is at odds with the Sun and Moon passing along your financial and tested relationships axis. Thus, I think, perhaps financially you are poised or ready to begin a family, or make it bigger, or see to your artistic dreams, or couple with someone, but there are, as I said, other difficulties, other pressures. But, patience, patience. On the 15th we have a very different vibe with the Sun and Moon coming together for the New Moon in Aries at 26 degrees, aligning with Uranus, the planet of the new, unexpected, which breaks down structural, useless barriers. For you this falls in your house of deeper relationships, financial partnerships, birth and death. Unexpected mergers or financial partnerships might come your way, might, if already in place, unexpectedly break down. You could meet someone new and extremely alluring, out of the blue, too. Pregnancy, birth, and intensity of a love relationship are also possibilities. By month’s end we have one of the loveliest Full Moons of the year at 9 degrees Scorpio in your house of the mind, supported by the soundness of Saturn, the idealism of Neptune, the gaiety and happiness of nearby Jupiter. This is a Moon of heart expansion, of a peaceful mind. It’s a Full Moon, yes, of drawing peace around yourself, of perhaps a short restorative journey, of drinking full your blessings, of not blaming or wringing your hands over your lessons. A healthy, practical, emotionally open, and bracing mindset are yours at this Full Moon. You may want to experience what there is to love about your locale, about the people in your every day life, and I have no doubt that thankfulness and gratitude will fill your heart.
