Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Scorpio: This month, Scorpio, your ruler, Pluto, factors deeply into the powerful, transitory Moons of the new Spring. On April 5th, we have the New Moon in Aries, at 15 degrees, a potent degree that is repeating this year with the Solar Eclipse in January at 15 degrees, the New Moon in Aquarius in February at 15 degrees, and last month’s New Moon in Pisces also at 15 degrees! This is a number of extreme alchemical perception and potential, the Devil’s card in the Tarot, that holds the balance of power on the earth, depending upon the intent and purposes of an individual will. So the individual will is the deciding factor between all these potent transits of late. Pluto’s involvement this month, being conjunct or quite near Saturn in your house of the mind, and square or conflicting with the New Moon in Aries in your house of habits, routines, and work habits, as well as health, underlies that all that’s going on has been a long time shaping and forming, and that concrete results are coming from long-concentrated thought. For you this might manifest as a jolt in your everyday life, a great shift in your routines, your mindset, what you see, touch, and feel. This is all transforming and becoming more in tune to your spirit and your great depth of will, all the time. The New Moon on April 5threally shows great opportunity for the enterprising spirit, though opportunity through adversity, there are some challenges here that require creative, maybe even impulsive solutions combined with focus and a leap of faith. Mercury is finally direct, as well as Venus and Mars so this is a busy, busy time of forward motion. On April 19thwe have the Full Moon which should have been in your own sign of Scorpio (!!) but instead is in Libra, meaning that this is the second Full Moon in Libra, following the one in March, which happens sometimes, when the Full Moon falls on the last degree of the sign as this one does. Another sign of inevitable and serious change is this appearance of the last degree of a sign, called a terminal degree, which portends the chaos of full-bodied, ripening transformation. For you this falls on the dark side of your house of self and could very well indicate the end of your old being, the start of that chance of becoming you have dreamt of. And this Full Moon connects by square, or deep-rooted tension, also, to your ruler, Pluto, and Saturn, again, in the house of your mind, which also has to do with writing, correspondences, communication, and movement in your life. Their influence there makes a direct line towards your burgeoning house of self, or perhaps the very health of your unconscious, no small thing. It may well be results in your life will come later but the blocks being laid now, the steadiness and depth of intent in them, will make a great difference when it’s time to make moves and be visible.
