Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Scorpio: We come into April on the heels of a Blue Moon, at 10 degrees Libra, hitting Scorpios in their twelfth house of repressions, isolated spaces, meditative yearnings. Meanwhile the Sun passes through the opposite house, the sixth, a house of handling crises, of bearing the dragging physical realm, hours of routines, of dealing with hard-won lessons. These are the houses that are always highlighted for you in late March and most of April—they are best taken together. The more explored the dark secrets of the 12th house in connection with your spirit, your soul, the more rewarding are our physical requirements, our routines that become like mantras. So the Full Moon on March 31st called into play these two houses and shoved Saturn, a planet of hard deals, and Mars, the planet of will and your ancient ruler, between them from your house of the mind. Here we have a disturbance in your mental composure, a shift potentially in your routines, a test of your core defenses. Doubts, projections of demonical fancy, oppressions from without, from within, descend upon you. Correspondences you cannot ignore, real drudgery from your locale, from social requirements puts you on edge, makes you suffer. You must lay back on the strength of your inner spirit, you indomitable inner resources, and the peace of your private rituals, to weather the real annoyances of late March and early April. Steel yourself against depression; do everything required of you, complete your errands and appointments, and wait for it to pass. It will, and you’ll be rewarded by the end of April, you’ll see. On April 15th we have a New Moon at 26 degrees Aries, in that house of routines, together with Uranus, and the passing Sun. This is a wonderful opportunity to embrace adaptability at this time, but be open to new ideas for your work habits, for your health. Uranus has been in your sphere for years now, really, and is set to leave in the near future. Thus the New Moon highlights its last touches to this overlooked house, the largeness and adaptability it’s worked into your daily life. Because of Uranus’ long stay here, you’ll be less crushed by health difficulties, taking those in stride, and less deterred by little failures, by learning curves you need to go around for your work. Something may appear at this time that forces you to change course health-wise, or work-wise in your routines, and I think you might weather such requirements all right. Finally, you have your Full Moon of the year in Scorpio at 9 degrees, thus most of all affecting those born the first week of November. This Full Moon has Saturn’s support from your house of the mind, Neptune’s from your house of joy, artistic expression, children, with Jupiter’s energetic, expansive rays within range. You should feel good about yourself at this time, filled with inspiration for the future, of a good mind-set, happy with yourself, and determined to carry out your plans, however hard a road they lay down. With Jupiter shining benignly close by, all luck and timing are on your side. Strike out at this time—you’re not likely to be defeated.
