Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Scorpio: 2018 might prove quite exciting for it begins right off the bat with so much force and good tidings. A Supermoon, the biggest of the whole year, rises in the sky January 2nd, which is a Full Moon appearing much larger than usual, in the sign of Cancer at 11 degrees. This is a water sign akin to you, and not only that but it is part of a huge, fortuitous, and rare configuration with five other planets called a kite. The kite has an axis of its own and it falls upon your subjective-objective houses of the mind. The Moon hits the house of the objective mind, ruling also higher schools of thought, higher study, courthouses, publishing, and foreign countries. It is directly opposed by Venus and Pluto in the house of subjective thinking where we learn by experience, where we absorb culture not from study or travel, but from our locale. It is also the house of the voice, writing, and communication. Pluto is your ruler and has been for some time in this third house, and here has its theme of revitalizing the way you communicate brought into relevant time and place. United with Venus, this is the combination of intense passion, and so if you have a dedication to your community, to your practice in writing or speaking your truth, then an opportunity for pronouncement of your passion is the theme of this Supermoon. The Moon itself indicates visibility in a house of thought, perhaps through a college, spiritual organization, or by international cooperation, or in publishing. Meanwhile the kite is created by two wings flanking the pinnacle of Venus-Pluto and these are Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio in your own house of self which completely emboldens your presence, your very movements, giving you great personal power, magnetism, and luck, with the other wing represented by Neptune in your house of personal expression, living your joy, living with children. All suggest I think a unification of artistry between Mars and Jupiter brimming you with the confidence and presence and Neptune making you intuitive to your power of expression, to what you need for happiness. The themes are further built upon by the New Moon on the 17th at the end of Capricorn, igniting that third house, again, near to Venus and Pluto, but this time squared or challenged by Uranus in your house of routine, and health, but quite near, perhaps, to your Descendant, or the point of unison with another person. Uranus could belie a health problem, here, or an ongoing adjusting to crisis that comes up in your daily routines, which I think might indicate a temporary interruption of your routine, or perhaps some physical exhaustion, but I think also suggests that you will meet with flexibility and openness any new situation, and bring to it your willingness to change yourself at the most mundane level, which is really in truth, the only way we can change. If Uranus is very near your Descendant, then you might meet someone around this time helpful to your path. Finally, the Lunar Eclipse on the 31st will occur at 11 degrees Leo in your house of career, distantly opposed to Venus. Lunar Eclipses bring firm endings, and so for you, I hope you find fruition on your journey to fulfillment in your role in this world. The possibility of a real step forward and of recognition in your career is quite possible. Venus suggests that your love and respect for yourself, and your adherence to your own values, has over time made such waves as to finally bring about the notice of others in the world. A very significant event could occur at this time, forever changing the depth of your influence in your career. This Lunar Eclipse is fulfillment, it is much deserved success.
