Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

Scorpio: This month, Scorpio, Mercury hovers about your Descendant as if racked with indecisiveness about whether or not you should connect with a certain person, whether information might be exchanged or kept secret, whether you shall be heard or not. Retrograde and then direct on the 10th, Mercury for all signs will be out of sorts and so the typical extroverted quality of communication and expression Mercury lends will be turned more inwards. A good time to write, a good time to consider old connections, to plumb them for reasons to reconnect. Venus, too, is in the same boat but hovering about the cusp between Pisces and Aries; the back and forth of love, the gentleness of love, has receded in power. Your ruler, Mars, barreling through your house of others this month has the upper hand, so your direct, unmincing, self-concerned way of relating is the order of the day. There is a well engaged full moon on April 11th at 21 degrees Libra this month falling in your house of the subconscious, of secrecy and isolation, here aligned with Jupiter who has been quietly bolstering your life with renewed faith and self-trust. You may look into your own depths at the moment and find nothing alarming; your faith in yourself soars, you see justice, you see the reasons for being, that there are no mistakes. This Jupiter, especially triggered by this full moon, gives to you. But the full moon is also part of a vital, tense T-square with your own ruler, Pluto, at the apex, in your house of daily communications, of writing, of your mind in daily life, and Uranus is also involved as the lower leg of the T-square in your house of personal crisis and adjustment. Both Pluto and Uranus are too slow moving to flit through the themes of any one house; their heels are well dug into these cadent realms for Scorpios, and are especially potent and relevant when the full moon triggers them. In Uranus' case it may be now that Jupiter has entered such an important house that crises you have faced over the past few years and continue to face health-wise, routine-wise, and in your daily adjustments are up against increasingly relevant methods for dealing, in which the upheaval caused by Uranus' presence, whether this manifests in your home life, in the office or your work life, cannot seriously unhinge you. In fact you are moved by all forms of practicality; your spirit cleaves to practical, earthy solutions, and this somehow Uranus cannot completely upset, subject itself to cycles, like the earth. Meanwhile Pluto continues to reinvent the very depths of your mind, and reorients you for a deep juxtaposition between yourself, others, and the knowledge you would seek. Writing practices are also deepened here, and letter writing might for whatever reason be especially important. Pluto being at the apex and your ruler, I would look to the third house for major goings-on this month, for the throbbing vein present there. Emotional correspondences, writing of some importance, research that is mired in your subjective, imperial knowledge is what is developing here. Finally, the new moon at the end of the month is in your opposite sign of Taurus and is completely unburdened, bringing you tenderly close against someone this month, whether it be in a new relationship, or something of a reaffirming of old vows. A lovely time to romantically connect, and perhaps also a good time to make a new connection that could serve you well in the future, and this may or may not be a romantic one.
