Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 20)
Pisces: This month Pisces we have our Summer Eclipses, building upon and breaking open and throwing out the window any tension or complacency we’ve gotten used to since the Eclipses restructured our lives last year in July, and in a pronounced way last January. There’s a Total Solar Eclipse this time on July 2ndat 10 degrees Cancer in a part of your chart that has to do with your love of life, children, romance, your own expressions, and the Moon Eclipsed by the Sun is loosely opposite Saturn in your house of involvement with groups of people and forward motions in the world, well as supported by Uranus currently in Taurus and a house that has to do with your own personal body, space, and income. So this combination is great for reorienting yourself creatively in a professional way, so you start to consider what your expressions are worth, and holding to that. Solar Eclipses generally bring in new circumstances and information so you can make a new, branching path. Also this house, dealing with children, can involve feeling such deep love and responsibility for them that you reassess what you do for a living and how much it brings you. What you do for a living might certainly be in flux since Uranus entered your house of finance, as well, which might be at least for a while making your financial situation go up and down, and be really unpredictable. Saturn here is putting a bit of pressure on you from a social side, in that you might feel obligated to a certain group, or weary of influences in the world, and perhaps want to focus more on your own intimate and private relationships and the inward impetus of your own expressions. Yet Saturn is calling upon you to be aware of the state of the world, of the other people in it and their part to play; you want to enjoy life, but should also cultivate a sense of humility for the very chance to experience your joys. Then on July 16ththere will be a partial Lunar Eclipse in that social, forward-swinging house at 24 degrees Capricorn, within range of Saturn but quite close to Pluto. Now around this time there’s some emotional happening, some deep, changing, emotionally-rooted event here that might have to do with your friends, or your own mindset of what you want to manifest in the world, and what is really possible for you. There might be some emotional reckoning on limitations you must face from the world, circumstances, etc. But it could all be changing, too. Pluto just asks you to see things honestly and to open yourself up to feeling (something Pisceans don’t have a problem with) the depth of what your goals in this life mean to you, and how to adapt them to reality, and what sacrifices they actually require. We can have in our heads our own personal ideas of what we should become, our own inner worlds that are determined to be as they are, but then we have other people to contend with, we have the surface of the earth, our landscape, our times, and the limitations and the great possibilities there, and we must have a fearlessness to shape what’s in a volatile, unreal, and unspoken state, to take energy and weave by our own will. The depths of your power in the world cast into a sea of other powers—that’s the crux of this Lunar Eclipse. Mercury will be Retrograde as well, from the 8thon, which doesn’t bode so well for connecting to new people, but can help on deepening the relationships you already have. Mercury in Retrograde heightens the intuition, too, and puts the focus on listening and the unspoken rather than a blatant, more lively exchange. It’s a month of quiet, but powerful realignment.
