Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 20)
ruler, will dance around each other all month and join midway, a wonderful aspect for accentuating and falling full into any stirred up feelings you have for someone. Everything will take on a brighter, more intense hue when these planets speak so closely. But this month is heavy, too, with two Eclipses, a partial Solar Eclipse on January 6th, and a Total Lunar Eclipse on the 21st. The first, the Solar Eclipse will occur at 15 degrees Capricorn, aligning Saturn and Pluto who are inching nearer and nearer now. The Sun, the Moon between these two heavy planets, one the planet of definite form and long-winded stretches of time and patience, a hard-won life, and the other a planet of finality, too, and drastic change, transformation, rebirth. Thus the year turns with a pronounced, a serious-minded, and sober turn in reality, that nonetheless lifts, breaks old ways of being, and brings so much new, ecstatic unshaped matter to be experienced. Saturn is the depths of reality but Pluto is the union of spirit and material in a way and the chaos of their meeting: these are aspects of truly lived life and experience. The Solar Eclipse will occur for you in a house having to do with integrating with your peers, your world, as well as revolutionizing the way things are. You might find yourself on the cusp of a great tide of change in which your own humble individuality is paramount. Who you are to yourself and thus to others as a whole could be going through drastic upheaval, and what you want to do in the world might very well be changing. Then on the 21st, the unaffected, aloof Total Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 0 degrees Leo will hit you either in your sixth house having to do with routines, habits, personal crisis. Uranus speaks to this Lunar Eclipse by turning the opposition of Sun and Moon into a T-square or an aspect of change, tension. Uranus is slipping into your house of the mind now. It seems this is an Eclipse of heightened self-awareness, of obliterating old ways of thinking. Be open, a blank slate: there is so much to take in, and prejudice would spoil it. Yet Pisces understands, being sponge-like and so changeable, the good that can come from meekness, from observing, from silence, which must precede action and determinism.
