Libra (Sep 23 - Oct 22)

Libra: This month, Libra, you see the full moon in your sign, which occurs only once a year around your half birthday. Unfortunately your ruler is tied up, nearly stationary, hovering between the cusps of Aries and Pisces. Indeed, Venus will be direct by the 15th but her speed will be cautionary, slow. Your ruler is entering a vital part of your chart now, too, to pass the western edge of the Ascendant-Descendant axis, thus hovering all month over a point which is integral to your connecting deeply. It may in fact prove to be an important time, relationship-wise, in which something of the past gets reconsidered, or seems to transform, lead you into some open arms. But then there is the full moon in your sign at 21 degrees Libra on April 11th and so most of all affecting those with mid October birthdays. This full moon of course falls in your house of self and aligns with Jupiter there so you should be brimming with gaiety, optimism, a boundless eagerness, a larger than life aspect, truly. But then also this full moon forms with Jupiter the outer leg of a tough, pressurized T-square with Pluto at the apex in your house of core being and private, familial habits, and Uranus in your house of others. Uranus does seem to indicate an ongoing trend of openness to relationships, of relationships swiftly ending and then others beginning, as well as times of heart-rending circumstances in which your ego is hit this way and that. Connected to Pluto the issue goes even deeper. Your very being is undergoing total crisis through which it must pass in order to emerge with knowledge necessary to your very life, to the core principles that must make up your life. Perhaps you are simply in one of the greater transitions in life, and death, even, might be a theme, but the cycles of death which lead again to birth. Pluto still has some six years in the sign of Capricorn at the bottom of your chart and so will continue to be triggered here, but especially when the full moon hits it; then its principles of letting go and rebirth, of depth of self-understanding, and hard truths must be heeded. Continuing on, there is a mild new moon by month's end for you falling in a house of deep connective relationships, which certainly seems to be the theme this month. If there is something beginning or transcending to a new level of intimacy then by the month's end you'll experience something of a honeymoon with this aspect. The Moon is exalted in Taurus; its principles of sensuality and openness, of earthiness and slow movement are well represented here, and in such an intimate house which can mold two beings together, it seems as if all the themes of sex, love, and psychic understanding must be explored in depth. This is also a house of loss. It does seem that if one isn't gaining in this realm, then one is losing, but again, in cycles...
