Libra (Sep 23 - Oct 22)
Libra: Keep on your toes this month, Libra—Mercury and Mars are finally direct and picking up speed. August was hazy and full of smoke and more relaxation than you knew what to do with. Now you’re in September and your obligations, appointments, and your drive to attain is all revving up. Mars is moving back into Aquarius after coming through all summer long and then back-tracking, but now for the last time in a two year period Mars is sailing through your house of pleasures, self-fulfillment and creativity, also love affairs and the raising of children. Actually a wonderful placement. You’ll definitely have some self-possession to use here, a desire to be close with others, to really get as deep into life as your can, and to be active and participatory, which can only help you. Risks of losing money, or losing your heart is always possible, but c’est la vie. On September 9th there will a New Moon at 17 degrees Virgo in an unconscious house, for you, opposed to Neptune in a house of mundane routines, health and work habits. This is a meditative, dissociative aspect in which you’re seeing more of the spiritual, subtler energy behind situations in your life and your daily habits and the patterns of your deeper mind than usual. Your intuition is definitely heightened at this time and should be listened to, though Neptune’s presence is going to alert you to energy that is not necessarily concrete or long-lasting, but that is present nonetheless. Falling in love out of nowhere, a bout of depression, or elation, or some kind of awakening experience at this time is a possibility. On September 25th there will be a Full Moon in your opposite sign at 2 degrees Aries most of all affecting those with a Libra rising degree near this point, or those born in late September. The Full Moon will be hard-angled to Saturn from your house of inner, core being, a sense of home both in a physical sense and in a soul-sense. Saturn is grounding you hard here with such a placement so that it’s impossible for you to float about, to pretend you don’t know yourself, to spread yourself too thin or scatter your energies. You must hone in, define yourself, deal with deep insecurities, mark your territory, and use your deeper resources for really constructive purposes. You might be forced to do this despite depressive tendencies, and because of very real limitations in your life having to do with real-estate or your family. The Moon here brings another perspective into this matter, the consideration of a lover or a partner. Whatever your other feels will be somewhat at odds with what you really need yourself, and you can try and strike a balance, or demand some time to just work on yourself. Either way it’s a space driving aspect, one which is actually necessary for a healthy long-term relationship anyway.
