Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)
Capricorn: This month Mars and Uranus are combined in your house of core being, a sort of sacrum of personal power. A powerhouse themselves: their combination could signal intense identification with your innermost self, and Uranus in particular, who has been housed here for a long while, signifies that at times certain triggers are reaching down deep and overturning, perhaps, even your most basic ethics. New information is at this time flooding your system, and the presence of Mars this month only makes it deeply personal. On March 12th there will be a troublesome full moon in Virgo, in your house of objective reasoning where strangely enough the ideology of faith also comes in, that is faith that has its form and picture in an institution for this house rules churches, higher education, presses, the courts, and foreign travel. The full moon here makes this house very personal this month, could potentially indicate long-distance travel, the struggle to publish, to make a case, to state your point, etc. The moon is an especially mental one opposed to Mercury in your house of the subjective mind. The opposition of moon and Mercury makes emotional conversations and intuitive reasoning very possible, especially along this axis of the mind; it seems you might want to be communicating, writing, or demonstrating on a smaller, more local, more intimate level but your ideas, your depth of interest is flung far beyond any at hand world, and you may be trusting certain institutions to back you up. Finally the opposed pair are connected to Saturn, as an apex, in your house of the unconscious. Saturn here really belies a troubled mindset, an at present inferiority complex, but perhaps a very emboldened motivation to bring order and knowing out of places within you and ideas beyond you that are unknown. Saturn is your ruler after all and so no one better understands the depth of love and motivation behind the impetus to limit and construct for in such limits is the deepest likelihood of permanence, is success in the real--and the goal is dizzying for you. It has been especially a sort tender-hearted thing as of late with your ruler being so sunk and out of the picture; you're confined to dreams when you would have action. Finally on March 28th there is a much more easygoing new moon in Aries in that house of power, a place also which rules the mother or the father depending upon to whom you speak, the home life, and the shattered remnants of childhood. Venus is aligned with this moon, though in her detriment and retrograded. Thus this is a moon that is lost in old memories, that succumbs to old visions, old friends, old ideas perhaps only for a moment but it seems that something must be found there, something must be dragged out of your past. It is in this way that Saturn might climb out of its hole of the not knowing, by clinging to this real material that once was, that--who can say no longer is--and using this as a tether to climb back into a will to permanence, of daily relevance.
