Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)
Aries: A new year is come and with a really wonderful, intense start, too, with a Supermoon on January 2nd, the largest moon that will appear in 2018 happening right off the bat. This Supermoon also happens to make a rare, very engaged kite in the sky between five other planets. The kite is a wondrous combination of four planets usually, but in this case six are involved; it is fortuitous, harmonic, and full of blessings for a new path. For you it falls upon a very important axis, with the Moon in its natural sign and house of Cancer, in your chart, respectively, linking to Venus and Pluto locked together in your house of career, or ultimate manifestation in the world. Meanwhile, Jupiter and Mars, also tight in conjunction, support the venture of the heart as represented by Moon-Pluto/Venus, or the flower of your soul unfolding on the stage of the world, as well as Neptune, the planet of dreams. Neptune is in your house of unconsciousness awakening all kinds of deep imagery and symbolic answers if you know how to spot them, as well as greatly increasing the depth of your nether-spacial cognition. Jupiter and Mars hail at the moment in your eighth house. And from the eighth house comes depth of intuition, too, grace with talent, power to sway people, to access the occult powers of people banding together, as well as dealing deftly with your financial resources. All flanks a great unveiling with Venus-Pluto, the most love heavy combination of all, on a public stage, which doesn't really suggest public love, though it could actually, but more likely deals with the depth of passion you bring to your work, especially when embroiled in any sort of crisis, for Pluto often deals with the dramatic. The year may start off with an incredible opportunity in one way or another with signs, clear signs leading you towards that success you have dreamt of. It's a rare, rare moon. But this month goes on with big celestial shifts in other ways, too, with a Lunar Eclipse on the 31st. But first there is also a New Moon, which builds upon the Supermoon's themes, at 26 degrees Capricorn on the 17th. This New Moon alights your house of career as well, so anything begun to show signs of change in the first week of the month will give a clear sign of new direction by the start of the third week. This New Moon is supported by Mars and Jupiter, again full of vigor, financial prowess, and depth of passion from your eighth house as well as same-sign Venus and Pluto, embroiling you with intensity for your role, and depth of focus, but the New Moon is also square, or at odds with Uranus in Aries, and your house of self. With so much support, this square with Uranus seems to me more of a needed jolt to not be afraid to embrace what comes because you feel you deserve it; don't listen to a voice of modesty now, don't listen to self-doubts, and comforts of the past. Your motions at this time must be spontaneous, fearless. And finally that Lunar Eclipse on the 31st will occur at 11 degrees Leo. Lunar Eclipses are real endings, they shut the door on what must pass away with a decisive conclusion, and your new focus will come about by the time the Solar Eclipse hits in February. The Lunar Eclipse in your house of artistic expression, joy, love affairs, and children distantly opposed to Venus in a social house suggests that you're coming to a place of completion in your artistic ventures, or in the swirling adaptation that is parenting, or in your pursuit of love, or simply in naming your joy. You're becoming somewhat socially aware, but you understand that distance must be maintained between what you show outwardly and the depth of your inner expression. There's an awareness that you must play a role that protects what you really value. The end of the month after so much early January activity nonetheless seems more of a quiet revelation.
