Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)
Aries: The big news this month are a pair of eclipses, the first being a partial Solar Eclipse on July 13th, and the next a total Lunar Eclipse on the 27th of July, followed actually by a second partial Solar Eclipse on August 11th! I love eclipses personally, but then again I favor change and eruption myself, even if I get terrified of it, and comfortable with the way things are. The one on July 13th at 20 degrees Cancer is supported by Neptune in a trine, and directly opposite Pluto. Jupiter is a little out of range but I would count its influence here as supportive also, which would make a general Grand Trine, that would be even more exact if you have any planet at around 20 degrees Scorpio. For you this Eclipse hits a low, secretive, feeling-oriented house having to do with your core personality and desires, your home, your life with family, or alone. Neptune is in its own sphere of unconsciousness and sometimes undoing, while Pluto continues to soar through your house of career. The opposition between the Eclipsed Sun and Moon, which are conjunct or close together, as always during the New Moon, and Pluto are exact, 20 degrees on both sides. This is the main focal point. You may at this time experience eruptions in your career that affect you very deeply, and send you reeling on a private level, hitting that vein of be careful what you wish for. Moon opposite Pluto in itself is a volatile, deeply emotional aspect which tends to bind people to each other and break them apart only through the deepest trauma. So there is an element of trauma here; Neptune and even Jupiter, though assuages this with strong philosophical objectiveness and gratefulness for your very life. But you could certainly, certainly, make bold moves in your career at this time. Then at month’s end almost, July 27th, we have the Total Lunar Eclipse, the big one of the season, and a tough one, as it goes. The Eclipsed Moon will be exactly conjunct, or aligned, with your Ruler Mars, and the pair being opposed to the Sun will create a tight T-square with Uranus in Taurus. This dynamic, fixed, and relentless configuration tends to push for action and resolution, at all costs, and these are not easygoing planets, as you well know. Mars and Uranus can cause accidents, volatile releasing of anger, but eventually transformation, higher knowledge. Mars and Moon together are a classic heat-fueled emotive aspect, the kind of aspect that makes lovers rage and howl at the moon and tear each other apart. The pairing is deeply sexual and primal. Uranus takes the primal, earthy edge off with a dose of cold chaos and change that is outside any one person’s lonely trajectory. The T-square happens with Uranus in your financial house, disrupting and possibly opening up the way you make money, and how your body responds to others, with Moon and Mars in your house of greater social advancement and worldly dreams and the Sun in your house of creative, personal impulses. You might certainly be putting your own work forward at this time; Uranus’ new transit would support that, as finances tend to become less stable when we choose to pursue our dreams, or our art. Moon and Mars suggest a sexual connection to someone who might be a friend, or a kind of primal ferocity in a world that is usually more organized and aloof. But everyone will be touchy, unhinged, and full of constructive or destructive energy at this time.
