Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Aquarius: Happy Birthday Aquarius! You may be having a big year, with rewards to be heaped upon you, and so much growth you should acknowledge in yourself as having attained. It is the end of the Leo-Aquarius series of Eclipses as of last month with the hugely affecting and visible Lunar Eclipse here in New York being the last, with your planet, Uranus, having been the focal point. I think much might be turning as you would like to see it—to your surprise, to your dismay. If it’s to your dismay take a moment to realize that you actually had a hand in manifesting all this happening, that you called it upon yourself and must at all accounts synthesis what your reality is with your continuingly evolving dreams and visions. The Eclipse of last month may feel final, in a sense, jarring, but really it’s all for the better, and you’ll receive some gentle encouragement this month to help renew and revitalize you. On February 4th the New Moon will fall at 15 degrees Aquarius, most of all affecting those with a birthday around that point or with a rising sign near that degree. Now this New Moon has Mars is in its favor, and Jupiter, with Mercury close by. It’s an intellectual, deeply aware, extremely intuitive configuration all centered in your house of self. Jupiter is hailing from a sphere of social prowess and vast vision, while Mars shifts towards your house of the mind. You’re full of revelation at this time—please try and own it. Make your own moves, decide what’s best for yourself, and be unmincing. Then Mars will move towards your lowest point in the chart, towards Taurus, aligning with Uranus by month’s end and signaling the Full Moon at 0 degrees Virgo on the 19th. The Full Moon itself will occur in a part of your chart having to do with your deepest commitment to things: relationships, your own worth, and financial stability. Mars and Uranus indicate a desire to import risk here, to take deep risk for the sake of your individuality, for the soaring of your soul. And though this Moon is gentle, there’s something calamitous about the pairing, and a bit unnerving, for Virgo does not see so eye to eye in contingency with these two volatile planets, especially aligned. Though you may go about matters of the heart and soul cautiously, be aware that any crossing into the eighth house portends crisis, though it is clearly what you want here—even the really good feeling in the eighth has a clear underside of pain to it. Finally Venus gently shifts by Saturn and then Pluto by month’s end in your house of unconsciousness. It’s a really wonderful opportunity to step back, hone in to yourself, maybe even write down or meditate on what you really want in this life, who you are, what you’ve lost and have gained and are still struggling to become. Venus in this sphere should make rise to your mind all of the good that is unearthed even with our most painful struggles.
