Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Aquarius: Everyone has an intense month ahead with three Eclipses in tow for summertime—two in July, and one in August. The first and the last are Partial Solar Eclipses, and the middle one, which is in Aquarius, is a Total Lunar Eclipse. But to begin, on July 13th we’ll have the first Partial Solar Eclipse, at 20 degrees Cancer in your house of regular routines and meeting crises, dealing with health, supported by Neptune in Pisces, in your house of personal finances, and directly opposite Pluto in your house of greater unconsciousness, and sometimes repressed, undealt with matter. Pluto in such a house, where you have had it for a long time, occasionally and eventually permanently rewires your connection to the greater unconscious, all the time expanding the limits of your own subconscious. Pluto does this through intermittent crises and forced periods of solitude which lead to deep inner exploration. This month you might find yourself there again with such an intense outpouring of Plutonic energy from that sphere onto the vulnerable, impressionable, and feeling-oriented Moon from the sixth house. A health problem could arise, a crisis in your work, in your every day life which’ll come about like a rock blocking the functioning of your wheels: you can’t just simply plug along with something like this. You’ve got to stop and reassess. This is an intensely emotional New Moon and handling practical concerns is going to feel really daunting. You may do nothing. If you choose solitude and brooding, don’t let other people try and talk you out of it, you’ll benefit from it in the long run, and don’t need to be afraid you’ll get stuck in it, because the Lunar Eclipse on July 27th is going to sufficiently shake you out of it. This Total Lunar Eclipse will involve the Moon at 4 degrees Aquarius, thus most of all affecting those with a Rising degree near that point, or their birthday in late January. Mars will be aligned with this Moon in the first house, thus throwing a lot of active, desperate, hot energy into your person that will have to be directed somewhere. The Sun will be opposite, as with all Full Moons, in your house of relationships, and Uranus, newly moved into Taurus and your house of subconscious habits and inner resources has much to say on it well, taking the opposition between Moon/Mars—Sun and focusing it as a T-square directly into Uranus’ territory. All the anger you might find broiling up in you at this time, or straight up relentless determination, or unbridled desire is getting pulled down into your core center. Uranus at the bottommost house, where the Nadir, the midnight point, resides will over the next seven years forcibly and perhaps occasionally traumatically remold the depth of your participation in life, and the position of your heart. You might move houses, or spend all this time wandering, but groundedness in yourself for the time being is gone. Keep in mind though, Uranus is your Ruler, and so you above all can fathom what positives can come from such a transit. Willingness to change, to ride waves of chaos, to embrace your issues, your traumas, and love them for what they teach you—are lessons of Uranus roaming through this house. Eventually all of this disparate inner integration will have a bearing on your career path, too, for the Nadir is directly opposite the point of highest worldly achievement, the Midheaven. But this month you could break a relationship, abandon all your belongings, or simply disappear, I don’t know, but you are going to find impulsive, irreconcilable decisions really attractive.
