Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Aquarius: This July there will be two Eclipses, building upon the energy of last January when there was a Solar Eclipse at 15 degrees Capricorn on the 6th. So whatever occurred around then has built up enough momentum to warrant some new curveballs here, and a riling up of whatever plateau you think you might have reached. It’s time to climb to the next summit. A Total Solar Eclipse will occur in Cancer at 10 degrees on July 2nd. For you this will hit a part of your chart having to do with health, habits, routines, and the mundane world, loosely opposite Saturn in a place of unconsciousness with a beam of support thrown from your ruler, Uranus, from Taurus or your house of self, solipsism, who you are in your own deep, inner world, your home, your roots, all those things. Uranus being there really riles up what you consider stability and home, intending that you keep on the move, change residences, or change the nature of who you are, even at the very root of your being. Chaos and transformative change, like the molten lava at the core of the earth, is your stillness. If that is accepted, Uranus here can be incredibly liberating and positive. And of course this is your ruler and easier for you to tap into than anyone else, so rattling as this transit is, it should feel like fresh, cold, bracing water, like motivation, and give you the wonder of the world. For many, Uranus brings back their wonder before others and the world, and themselves. So Uranus supporting this Eclipsed Moon tells me that though you might have to deal with some minutiae around this time, it can feel like locked away secrets, like keys to the greater heave of your existence. Whatever arises—for this house can rule illnesses as well, be it issues with your work, scheduling, with what you want to do each day, some problem in your work, it is suggested through these aspects that your trust your deeper gut here and try to see the underlying truths, and challenges for what they are—opportunities, keys. You may be called upon to take on a whole new routine, to switch jobs, for example, or to figure out how to fix that leaking pipe in your house, but it’s necessary. Really you have to be sound enough in body and mind to face and conquer what’s mundane in this life—to be skillful, present, and helpful, not as easy as you think. A deepening of awareness is the great opportunity here. Then on July 16ththere will be a partial Lunar Eclipse at 24 degrees Capricorn in your house of unconsciousness, close to Pluto, and within range of Saturn. So this is a deep inward placement of profound emotional possibility here in the house of unconsciousness. You may want to detach, and go down deep in solitude for this one. Or if the wild, frantic world must continue to whirl around you during the Lunar Eclipse, keep in mind you can get easily drained. There’s a lot of inward pressure on releasing of deep, unspoken elements in yourself that are not on par with what’s manifesting for you in the world, but is like the very deep inner crust of the earth, inert, indifferent to changing seasons, for example, but without it, there would be no surface upon which to grow. Inner work. Mercury will be Retrograde at this time, too, after the 8thof July, and this is just added emphasis on the necessity to speak less, and listen better, and be very aware. It’s a month of deep inward awareness, of self-assessment, of experience through feeling and the growing, deep inward kind of awareness, that is half-conscious, and intune without force or prejudice, will or intent. Mercury in Retrograde allows us to become a little less forthcoming with our rampant connections, and more in tune with those inward currents. Close relationships, though, can deepen at this time.
