This photo was taken last year while I was on holiday at my mother-in-law's house in Bol on Brač Island in Croatia where I go with my family every year for summer holidays. One day while I was going home from the beach, I walked past a park that I have passed hundreds of times. However, this time, to my delight, a little girl with blonde curls and a white dress was swinging on the swing with her shadow beside her. Luckily, as I always do, I had my camera with me and knew I had to capture the moment. I took a few shots before the scene disappeared and the girl hopped off the swing. I call this photo "Sweet Bird of Youth" after the play by Tennessee Williams as it reminds me of how youth, and every moment, fade and quickly fly away.
