Flash Fiction: School Blues

She walked out of her exam in tears. She was embarrassed and exhausted. Hours and hours spent studying, and still. She didn’t know where she was walking, she just kept her feet moving.
She needed to go somewhere and do something. She felt like she was losing her mind. And then suddenly it hit her: what she wanted to do. She pivoted her direction and took off.
When she came to the building, she dropped her bag and moved straight to her purpose. She stuck her head in one of the architectural flourishes of John Wardle. And she screamed — loudly.
